The original synopsis was posted on 04/23/98, Modification No. 1 was posted on 4/30/98, and Modification No. 2 was posted on 05/04/98. The synopsis is amended as follows: (1) The sentence in Modification No. 2 that reads "The synopsis and solicitation are amended as follows:" is hereby amended to read as follows: "The synopsis is amended as follows:". (2) The method of evaluation to be used by the Government to evaluate quotes (incorporated by Modification No. 2) is hereby amended to read as follows: "Selection and award will be made (on an aggregte basis) to the lowest priced, technically acceptable quoter. Technical acceptability will be determined by information submitted by the quoter providing a description in sufficient detail to show that the product quoted meets the Government's requirement." (3) The paragraph stating the applicable SIC Code and Size Standard is amended to read as follows: "The SIC Code and Size Standard are 8731 and 1,000 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement." (4) The first sentence of the last paragraph of Modification No. 2 that refers to the May 22, 1998, date is hereby deleted in its entirety. (5) The due date for receipt of offers is extended to 06/05/98. (0141)
