This project consists of constructing shoreline protection along the East shore and wrapping around the North and South ends of the island. The protection will be a revetment consisting of armor stone, compacted stone, bedding stone fill, granular bedding, and reuse of existing cobbles at the toe. Also includes the installation of a protective type geocell slope membrane material, with loam and seed for the upper slope protection. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 575 calendar days after receipt of a Notice to Proceed. Plans and Specifications will be available on or about 06/09/98 at a cost of $60.00 per set. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the New England District. (0141)
