all labor, materials, and equipment to construct an entrance station,
asphalt concrete trails, portland cement concrete trails, aggregate
surfaced trails, and a boardwalk at the Lake Red Bluff Recreation Area
located at 1000 Sale Lane, Red Bluff, Tehama County, California. The
work also includes repainting of existing pavement markings and
applying seal coat to approximately 2.1 miles of existing asphalt
concrete trails. The proposed entrance station has an automatically
opening gate, construction of an additional traffic lane, a concrete
island for a future entrance station building, manual gates, a spike
traffic control device, signs and pavement markings. The proposed
asphalt concrete trail is eight feet wide, 1.1 miles long and has a hot
bitumonous pavement surface. The proposed portland cement concrete
trails consist of sidewalks that are approximately 0.22 miles long cast
in place concrete sidewalk and a pond walkway that is approximately 370
feet long. The proposed aggregate surfaced trail is approximately 0.3
miles long. The proposed board walk is approximately 45 feet long.
Other major items of work include painted traffic markings, signs of
various types, and seal coating of bituminous pavement surfaces. Major
quantities include approximatly 1200 cubic yards of excavation, 1760
tons of crushed aggregate base, 639 tons of hot bituminous plant mix
pavement, 4 tons of SS1h emulsified asphalt seal coat, 639 square yards
of portland cement concrete sidewalks, 370 lineal feet of portland
cement concrete pond walkway, 45 lineal feet of boardwalk, and
mobilization for the entire project. Price range is between $100,000
and $250,000. Estimated issue date is June 8, with an estimated due
date of July 8. There will be no pre-bid tour. For technical questions
