Z -- PAINT BARGE AND BARGE MOUNTED PLATFORM RINGER CRANE (QUAD CITIES) SOL DACW25-98-B-0021 DUE 071598 POC Procurement Technician, Murilene Knight, 309-794-5613, or Contract Specialist, Thomas Bales, 309-794-5661 Painting the exterior of the hull from the top of the deck down to and including the bottom, all the interior surfaces in the water tight compartment under the crane mounting ring, and the barge mounted ringer crane (above the ring base). Painting shall be accomplished at the Contractor's facility. The Contractor's facility must be located on the Mississippi River, Ohio River, or Tennessee River. The Quad Cities crane barge is 68 feet wide by 270 feet long by 12 feet deep and displaces approximately 2600 tons at a 4.5 foot draft. The crane barge will be delivered to the Contractor's facility by the Government. The estimated magnitude of the proposed procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. Plans and Specifications will be provided on CD-ROM at no cost; paper copies will not be available from the Government. This procurement is unrestricted and all responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this solicitation is 1721. (0141)
