Technical proposals will be evaluated on the factors listed in the solicitation. The scope of work includes the provisions of necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment and supervision for the construction of fire stations. The work includes clearing, grubbing and grading; site utility piping for water and sanitary; asphalt paving; concrete foundation and floor slab; metal building system with painted steel siding and standing seam metal roof; wood cabinetry with plastic laminate countertop; insulation; gutters and downspouts; firestopping; steel doors and frames, wood doors; aluminum windows with insulated glazing; patio door; metal stud partitions with painted gypsum board finishes; suspended ceiling system with acoustical panels and lay-in lighting; carpeting; resilient flooring and wall base; toilet accessories; garbage disposal; plumbing fixtures with associated domestic hot and cold water systems, sanitary and venting systems, natural gas systems, vehicular tank water fill system, compressed air system, piping, drains, insulation and accessories; heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) includes forced air heating system, split DX system air conditioning; apparatus room vehicle tailpipe exhaust system and make-up air system; room exhaust fans, associated supply, return, outside air, exhaust and combustion air ductwork and insulation systems, final commissioning, testing and balancing; underground electrical service to the building from pole-mounted transformer; back-up power from a natural gas fired generator; interior and exterior lighting, interior and exterior wiring, communications conduits, receptacles and switches; fire alarm system includes panel, transmitter, manual pull stations and smoke and heat detectors and all other incidental related work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN.
