The Army requires a requirements type contract for Housing Renovations & Repairs to Family Housing 1-5, 7-10 & 18, Fort Stewart, Georgia. The work primarily consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required in connection with Housing renovations and Repairs, Texture Ceilings, Replace Lighting Fixtures and Miscellaneous Electrical Improvements, Replace Plumbing Fixtures and Associated Wall and Floor Repairs, Replace Water Heaters, Replace Shower Receptors, Valves and Trim, Install Exhaust Fans, Replace Lavatory Faucets and Trim, Replace Hot and Cold Water Piping, Hose Bibbs and Associated Wall and Ceiling Repairs and Install New Ice Maker Connections. This contract is set-aside for and competed amongst 8(a) contractors serviced by the SBA Atlanta District Office (404) 347-7416. Only 8A firms are being sought. The applicable SIC Code is 1522 and the Magnitude is between $5 and $10 million (Base Period plus Four Option Periods). Performance shall commence within ten calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed and continue through 30 September 1999. This contract will contain option provisions to extend term of the contract for four additional one-year periods.
