Work consists of clearing, excavation and embankment, turnpike construction, switchback reconstruction, drainage structures, short segments of trail obliteration and trail relocation. Project is located on the Taylor River Ranger District, approximately 6 miles northeast of intersection FDR 744 and FDR 748, Gunnison County, CO, Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre & Gunnison NF.
