66 -- MULTIFUNCTION CALIBRATION REFERENCE AND TRANSFER STANDARD SUITE. The Marine Corps Systems Command is seeking sources for the Multifunction Calibration Reference and Transfer Standard Suite (MCR&TSS): The MCR&TSS is a complete calibration reference and transfer standard suite capable of providing the following capabilities: Oscilloscope calibration for multiple channel scopes to 1 GHz, Calibration of handheld multimeters to 5 digits and benchtop multimeters to 8.5 digits; Calibration of frequency counters/timers, charts recorders, data loggers, panel meters, clamp meters, x-y recorders and electronic thermometers, Calibration of high accuracy alternating voltage sources, Multifunction transfer standard for DCV, ACV, DCI, and ACI and Resistance sources and automated calibration and inventory management software. The MCR&TSS will have the following specifications: Oscilloscope Calibrator; four channel oscilloscope calibration to 1 GHz utilizing active probe heads (fast output modules); Fast-Edge with rise/fall time of 150 ps with an amplitude range of 5mV to 3V pk-pk into 50W with an accuracy of 3% and ranging of 1, 2, 5, or 1, 2, 2.5, 4, 5 or continuous and with a frequency range of 10Hz to 2MHz and aberrations of <3% peak for the first 1ns, <2% peak 1ns to 10ns and <0.25% peak 10ns peak 10ns to 50ns ; Leveled Sine to 1.1 GHz with an accuracy of 0.25ppm for f 12KHz and 3ppm max for f < 12KHz with an amplitude (leveled sine into 50W) of 4.44mV to 5.56V pk-pk with-in the range of 0.1Hz -- 550MHz and 4.44mV to 3.35V pk-pk with-in the range of 550MHz -- 1.1GHz and a flatness (leveled sine relative to 50KHz) of 1.5% within the range of 0.1Hz -- 100MHz and 3% within the range of 100MHz -- 550MHz and 4% within the range of 550MHz -- 1.1GHz and with a sine purity of 2nd harmonic <-35dBc and 3rd harmonic <-40dBc, the system will be capable of being upgraded to 3.2GHz; Timing Markers will be square/sine, pulse or narrow triangle with period square 10ns to 50s, period sine will be 0.5ns to 10ns, pulse will be 1us to 50s with rise/fall time of <700ps and narrow triangle will be 1us to 50s with rise/fall time 2.5% of period; DC Voltage amplitude of 1mV to 200V into 1MW and 1mV to 5V into 50W with an accuracy of (0.025% + 25uV) and ranging of 1, 2, 5 or 1, 2, 2.5, 4, 5 or continuous. Multifunction Calibrator; The multifunction calibrator shall have the capability to calibrate Handheld DMMs to 5 digits, Analog Meters, Clamp Meters to 1000Arms, Panel Meters, Harmonic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes to 600MHz, Counters, Electronic Thermometers, Chart Recorders, Oscillograph Recorders, X-Y Recorders and Data Recorders. The calibrator will have the following specifications; DC Voltage: Zero to 1050V, AC Voltage: Zero to 1050V (10Hz to 100KHz), DC Current: Zero to 20A (up to 1000A with current coil), AC Current: Zero to 20A (up to 1000A with current coil), Resistance: Zero to 400MW, Conductance: 2.5nS to 2.5mS, Capacitance: 500pF to 40mF, Frequency: 0.5Hz to 10MHz, Logic levels and Pulse: TTL, CMOS and ECL, Waveforms: Sine, square, triangle, trapezoid andimpulse, Phase: 180, Temperature (IPTS68 or ITS90): Thermocouples (type B, C, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, T) -250 C to +2320 C and RTD (type Pt385, Pt392) -200 C to +850 C, Leveled Sinewave: 10Hz to 600MHz with an amplitude (into 50W) of 4.4mV up to 5.5V pk-pk and Markers: 2ns 5s in a 1-2-5 sequence and an amplitude up to 1V into 50W. The multifunction calibrator shall also have the capability of being upgraded to perform calibration of Insulation/Continuity Testers (Resistance of 100KW to 2GW and Voltage (measured) of Zero to 1350V) and Power Meters from 1mW to 20KW (up to 1MW with the current coil). Alternating Voltage Measurement Standard; Standard range of 300mV to 1000V with a frequency range of 1Hz to 1MHz in the 300mV to 30V ranges, 1hz to 200KHz in the 100V range and 1Hz to 100KHz in the 300V and 1000V ranges. The calibrator will also have Millivolt ranges of 3mV to 100mV with a frequency range of 10Hz to 1MHz in all ranges. A 50 MHz wideband range will be available for 1V to 3.5V on a single 3V range with a 1 year accuracy (23 C 5 C) of 0.1% for 10Hz -- 40Hz, 0.125% for 40Hz -- 1MHz, 0.15% for 1MHz -10MHz, 0.2% for 10MHz -- 20MHz, 0.5% for 20MHz -- 30MHz and 2% for 30MHz -- 50MHz. High Performance Multifunction Calibrator; capable of providing support to 8-1/2 digit multimeters the calibrator will have the following output ranges, DC Voltage Output 100mV to 1000V in a 1, 10 sequence, AC Voltage Output 100mV to 1000V in a 1, 10 sequence with a frequency range of 10Hz to 1MHz in the 100mV to 100V ranges and 10Hz to 100KHz in the 1000V range, DC Current 100uA to 10A in a 1, 10 sequence and AC Current from 100uA to 10A in a 1, 10 sequence with a frequency range of 10Hz to 5KHz in the 100uA to 1A ranges and 10Hz to 20KHz in the 10A range. In addition the calibrator will have a wideband capability of 30MHz and the ability of voltage outputs withstanding reverse emfs up to 1000V. Also, the current and resistance outputs will be protected by high-speed fuses. Multifunction Transfer Standard (MTS); The MTS will provide traceability between primary standards and on-site laboratory calibrators to carry out in-place recalibration for the following functions; DCV, ACV, DCI, ACI and Resistance. This process shall be fully automated utilizing an on-board PC-based software. Automated Calibration and Inventory Management Software: A Windows application software package with the capability of providing automated calibration, coupled with fully integrated inventory management, results processing and report writing facilities. This package will allow for the development of calibration procedures that will allow fully automated calibration of GPIB (IEEE-488) controlled instruments and semi-automated calibration of manually controlled instruments.
