The NRC intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Fluent, Inc. to purchase a Perpetual License for their Fluent and Fluent/UNS Software which is currently being used for a computational fluid dynamic (CFD) code and support from Fluent, Inc. The procurement shall be conducted using other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. There are no substitutes for the fluent code because it is proprietary and sold exclusively by Fluent, Inc.
