The TN DOT-Aeronautics Division is soliciting proposals on a full and competitive basis from qualified firms to offer comprehensive planning expertise in the preparation of the Tennessee Airport System Plan Update. This is a federally funded project subject to the issuance of a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration. Detailed services include but are not limited to: (1) data collection and evaluation, (2) regional economic trends and forecasting analyses, (3) identification of the relationship between Tennessee airports and regional economies, (4) intermodal, environmental and airport system analyses, (5) public participation program, (6) system database and software development, and (7) continuous airport system planning process. Factors to be considered in evaluating the proposals include: (1) qualifications and experience in required disciplines, (2) technical approach to project, (3) computer and technical abilities, (4) staffing availability to perform the required services, (5) demonstrated ability to meet schedules without compromising sound planning practices, and (6) DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) Plan.
