J -- CASS MATINTENANCE FOR E-2C SOL N68335-98-Q-0241 DUE 062298 POC Kathleen Kiley-DiPietro Contract Specialist Code 25212E (732) 323-5197 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Divison, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations with Lockheed Martin Information Systems Corp., for an extension of CASS maintenance for the E-2C under the terms and conditions of N68335-97-C-0250. Maintenance service will be a six month extension. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, software or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competiton based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Navy anticipates a firm fixed price proposal. See Note 22 (0141)
