Kelly Contracting Officer 410-278-0854 (Site Code DAAD05) This is a notice of OMB Circular A-76 Performance of Commercial Activities for Installation Operations at the U.S. Army Garrison, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Services include Operations of utilities, boiler plant steam and electric; Environmental services to include asbestos conversion facility, radiation waste facility, pest management, land management; Logistics Distribution Center to include requisitioning, receiving, issue/turn-ins, shipping, storage, property book/accountability and troop issue subsistence management; Facility Maintenance to include carpentry, roofing, locksmith, painting, plumbing and masonry; Roads and Grounds to include maintenance and repair of surfaced areas, railroads and signs; Equipment support of motor pool, small office repairs and test facilities; Oversight to include regulatory compliance audits, sampling, spill cleanup, landfill inspections, installation restoration, conservation and resource engineering services. If cost comparison results in contracting out the services, the Government anticipates awarding a contract utilizing firm fixed price, time and Materials, and cost type provisions. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued approximately 1 August 1998. Contract will be awarded on an ALL or None Basis for a base year and three one-year options.
