The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) through the General Acquisitions Branch, Program Support Center (PSC), intends to award a three month sole source simplified acquisition to the University of Connecticut, School of Medicine in Farmington, CT. The contractor shall conduct a review of existing Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) training materials and manuals and the settings where they have been applied. Based on this review, the contractor shall identify one or two managed care brief intervention and behavioral health care treatment programs to adapt existing materials to their programs and client populations. The contractor will then pilot test a training of the MET clinician's manual for use in managed behavorial health treatment programs. Closing date is June 5, 1998. No solicitation is available.
