The Army requires a contract to issue excavation permits for Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Contractor will issue excavation permits to all agencies doing project management of construction, maintenance, or repair by contract, with in-house personnel, or by self-help when the location of underground utilities is required within the boundaries of Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. This work will be performed for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at each location. The contract period shall begin 1 October 1998 and continue through 30 September 1999 with an option to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional 1 year period. This acquisition is 100 set-aside for small businesses. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which will be considered. The SIC code is 7389. There is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $10.00 for this solicitation. A cashier's check, company check, money order only, made payable to the US Department of Treasurer will be accepted.
