Air transportation services from 1 Oct 98 or date of award if subsequent thereto through 30 Sep 99 utilizing contractor-furnished, IFR-equipped, multi-engine aircraft with a minimum capacity for 8 passengers, with baggage and cargo of any combination thereof up to 1,600 pounds. All aircraft must be equipped with a minimum inner door opening of 26" in width that is capable of accommodating rectangular items with outside dimensions measuring 42" x 26" x 21" and shall be equipped with an adequate tie down or restraint system for cargo. Pilot and copilot are required on all flights. Flights will normally originate and terminate at NAS Patuxent River with travel to and from other locations within a 300 mile radius of NAS Patuxent River, MD on an "as required" basis. This requirement is for a one-year contract with two one-year options under FAR 52.219-9 and a "not to exceed" six months under FAR 52.217-8. Offer will not be considered unless the offeror is an air taxi operator within the meaning of the Federal Aviation Act of 1958 (19 USC 1301) as amended.
