The principle features of this project shall include but not be limited to replacing existing refrigerant R-12 with refrigerant R-401A, including leak testing, in a built-up refrigeration and freezing facility. The project also includes removal and replacement of all refrigerant pipe insulation, and providing of high temperature,refrigerant leak monitors and alarm panels and removal of asbestors laden piping insulation. All work will require the contractor to furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials and perform all operations with the correct equipment and tools complete, in strict accordance with the specifications and accompanying drawings. A solicitation will be issued on/or about 8 June 1998 in compliance with Public Law 100-656, Business Opportunity Development Program Act of l998, establishing a test of unrestricted competition.
