This solicitation has been 100% set-aside for SDB underthe SBA 8(a) program. The contractor is to provide all materials, labor and equipment to perform bituminous asphalt paving maintenace at Fort Huachauca, AZ. This requirement has a contract period of one base year with four option years. Issue date of the solicitation will be on or about 15 June 1998. The magnitude of the contract is estimated at between $3 million and $5 million for the entire contract period. However, do the budget constraints and cuts there are no assurances the funds will made available for award on the resulting contract. If there is not an adequate response recieved from quialified SDB 8(a) firms this solicitation will be issued on a full and open unresticted basis. Interested SDB 8(a) firms request a solicitation package in writing, with a technical capabilities,financial and past performance statements of the firm. A $25.00 non-refundable fee by cerified check or money order is required for the solicitation package and drawings, made payable to the Defense Finance and Accounting Office. (0142)
