Headquarters, US Army Intelligence & Security Command, Fort Belvoir, VA intends to award a sole source commercial-item purchase order (under FAR Parts 12 and 13) to Inframetrics, Inc, Billerica, MA for ThermaCAM High Performance FPA Thermal Imaging Radiometers. The proposed acquisition is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1) FAR 6.302-1. The required items are: (5 each) ThermaCAM SC 1000 FPA IR Radiometer, (3 each) 8 degree lenses for SC 1000, (3 each) 4 degree lenses for SC 1000, (3 each) 2 degree lenses for SC 1000 and (4 each) InfraCAM Video Camera. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITION QUOTATIONS. AN RFQ DOES NOT EXIST. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the EXACT requirement or submit quotations. No product substitutions/equivalent products will be accepted. All quotations (with capability statements and supporting technical literature) received within 15 days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
