Contractor shall provide a comprehensive, enterprise-wide modular designed COTS Operating Room Management System (ORMS) to include new COTS assemblies and subassemblies. All proposed equipment and all individual features shall be part of the offeror's or the original equipment mfr's standard line of equipment identifiable as catalog items. Proprietary hardware is not acceptable. ORMS information system shall combine the ease and flexibility of a Windows NT application with the power of an expert scheduling engine and a sophisticated management system. Addionally, the ORMS will be interoperable with currently used software applications as well as those for DoD's Computer based Patient Record (CPR). The optional ORMS software component is an Enterprise Wide Scheduling (EWS) application which supports personnel work sheduling and patient appointments, while maintaining the confidentiallity and anonymity of both patient and healthcare provider.
