(MSE), acting on behalf of the Interagency DNAPL Consortium (IDC), has available Requests for Proposal for preliminary designs for demonstration of three separate Dense Non-aqueous Phase Liquids (DNAPL)remediation technologies. The IDC is a joint project of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The IDC will perform side-by-side demonstrations of established DNAPL technologies so as to compare costs and performance. The technologies of interest are: heating; in-situ oxidation; and in-situ flushing. The demonstrations are tentatively scheduled for performance in Calendar year 1999 on a trichloroethylene contamination source at Lauch Complex 34, Cape Canaveral, Florida.
