Applications, Inc. (MSE), acting on behalf of the Interagency DNAPL
Consortium (IDC), has available Requests for Proposal for preliminary
designs for demonstration of three separate Dense Non-aqueous Phase
Liquids (DNAPL)remediation technologies. The IDC is a joint project of
the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Department of Defense
(DoD), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The IDC will
perform side-by-side demonstrations of established DNAPL technologies
so as to compare costs and performance. The technologies of interest
are: heating; in-situ oxidation; and in-situ flushing. The
demonstrations are tentatively scheduled for performance in Calendar
year 1999 on a trichloroethylene contamination source at Lauch Complex
34, Cape Canaveral, Florida. Interested parties can request a copy of
a Request for Proposal by written request addressed to Charles E.
Ries, Sr. Subcontract Administrator, MSE Technology Applications, Inc.,
P.O. Box 4078, 200 Technology Way, Butte, MT 59702. Faxed requests will
also be accepted at (406) 494-7285. Requestors should identify the
technology they wish to demonstrate when requesting an RFP. Requests
