This corrects a notice posted on 5/1/98 for Telecommunications Services in Guam. The total contract period is changed from 10 years to 5 years. The initial contract period will be two years with three one-year renewal options. The geographic scope is extended to include Saipan. Issuance of the RFP is delayed to 6/8/98, with a closing date of 7/10/98. A preproposal conference will be held in San Francisco within two weeks of the RFP issuance date. Anyone desiring to attend must express his or her intent as the conference may be cancelled without notice due to lack of interest. Information regarding a site visit will be given at the preproposal conference. The RFP will be issued electronically to interested parties who have provided their e-mail addresses; or provide a written request along with a 3.5" diskette and overnight mailing label with a valid account number and complete return address.
