Eglin AFB, has a requirement to Replace Walls, Relocate Gas Lines, Plew Housing, Eglin AFB, FL. This project is being solicited as a competative 8(a) requirement and is limited to certified 8(a) firms within Northwest Florida (Jacksonville District) In general, the Base Bid consists of demolition and disposal of existing CMU screen walls, demolition and disposal of portions of existing concrete slabs, footings and walks, relocation of gas regulators and piping, construction of new PVC Fencing, and seeding. Additive #1: Additional landscaping (trees shrubs), as indicated on the drawings. Performance period is 90 calendar days. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bid opening date of 23 Jul 98 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. For your information funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payment under a contract.
