Z -- REPAIR OF ENGINEERING BUILDINGS AT GROUP WOODS HOLE SOL DTCGG1-98-B-3WK162 DUE 071498 POC Mattie Walker, Contract Specialist, 401-736-1766 Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and labor to repair three, 1 story steel frame buildings at USCG Group, Woodshole, MA. The work includes the following: 1. Remove asphalt roll roofing (approximately 25 sq) 2. Apply Acrymax 1-XT elastomeric roof coating system (approximately 100 sq) 3. Remove and replace asphalt shingles (approximately 31 sq. ft) and plywood decking (3000 sf). 4. Remove asbestos wallboard siding (approximately 2400 sf.) 5. Install plywood and vinyl siding wall system (approximately 2400 sf) 6. Paint exposed interior plywood wall panels (approximately 2000 sf) 7. Add gutters and downspouts (200 lf) 8. Remove and replace corrugated metal siding, roofing, and trim (approximately 1400 SF) 9. Paint exterior of corrugated metal siding (5600 SF) 10. Replace rigid board insulation with foil backed batt insulation (approximately 1300 sf) 11. Install new vapor barrier over insulated surfaces (approximately 55 sq) 12. Remove lead paint from window frames, trim, rakes, and soffits (approximately 18 windows, approximatley 400 SF other) and repaint. 13. Repair metal window flashing and metal soffits 14. Remove and replace metal doors and frames (2) 15. Paint interior metal framework, walls, and ceiling (2000 SF) 16. Replace fluorescent lighting fixtures (7), and incidental related work. Completion Time is 120 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated Cost of this project is between $100,000 to $250,000.
