RFQ PR-DC-98-02444 is modified to include the following clarifications: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement for 600,000 feet of plenum rated category 5 communications cable for use in the EPA New Headquarters Development Project. This cable must be a tri-cable design with 3-individual jacketed 4 pair, 24 gauge, all FEP, category 5 cables bundled together with an overall binder. The individual category 5 cables within the bundle must have the following color scheme: One cable must be green, one must be blue, and one must be white. Cable must be delivered in 1,000-foot reels. To comply with warranty conditions in existing connectivity hardware, only the following manufacturers' cable will be considered acceptable for this solicitation: Belden, Berk-Tec, CommScope, Mohawk, and Prescolite.
