This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation No. 98-SQ-34-00186 which incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 97-04. The SIC code is 3829 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, has a requirement for one (1) GPS Hydro/Dredging surveying equipment system which is Trimble Navigation or equal. The system includes the following: two (2) each Target Structure Base Station (bundle) 7400 RSi, Compact L1/L2 antenna, 30 meter cable, RTCM in/out, CMR in/out, DC support, power supply, P/N:34932-00; two (2) each 7400 DSi Rover Receiver P/N: 30565-70; two (2) each CMR in/out, P/N: 31719-00; three (3) each Compact L1/L2 Antenna P/N: 31352-00; three (3) each 30 meter Antenna Cable, P/N: 14551-00; three (3) each General Purpose Cable, P/N: 14555-00; two (2) each Trimmark II Base, Rover and Repeater Radio Equipment Set 25 watt, P/N: 27800-89; one (1) each Hydro w/Dredge option, P/N: 33050-04; one (1) each Hydro Pro (Windows), P/N: 33050-04; one (1) Upgrade to Windows Hydro Pro, P/N: 34804; One (1) each Echo sounder option by Odom Hydrotrac; one (1) each Bronze Narrow Beam Transducer-200KHZ 2.75 degree, P/N: SM200-2.75; one (1) each GPS Total Station SSi wo/Radio, TSCI, P/N: 26870-00; one (1) each Upgrade GPS TotalStation SSi to GPS 4800 GPS Total Station w/internal Radio, TSCI Data Collector and Software, PostProcess, P/N: 34000-91; one (1) each Trimmark II Base Radio Equipment Set 25 watt, P/N: 27800-81; one (1) each PCMCIA Data Card 4MB, P/N: 33050-04; one (1) each GPS Total Station 4800 support bundle-One year, Provide updates for Firmware for two GPS receivers and one data collector, and Trimble Survey Office Software, P/N: 33991-01; and 6 days of on-site training and installation of equipment. All part numbers are Trimble Navigation. The Government requires that this system be compatible with existing Trimble Navigation System. The following data shall be supplied with the quote document for evaluation/approval in such detail that the Government can determine the system to be an equal to system specified and to be compatible with existing Trimble Navigation system. Delivery of the system is desired two weeks after receipt of order; however, other delivery dates will be considered. Delivery shall be made to Bureau of Reclamation, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, AZ 85364. The RFQ should be mailed to Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Attention: YAO-3120; P.O. Box D, Yuma, AZ 85364. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Agency. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items will be based on bestvalue to Government. The following non-cost factors will be evaluated Technical and Past Performance. When the non-cost factors are equal, the deciding factor will be price.
