The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Lightspeed Software, 1800 19th St.,Bakersfield, CA for the annual maintenance and support and for the installation and configuration of the software in several locations throughout the country, of the following proprietary licensed software products: Lightspeed's NVS, Lightspeed 32bit Windows option, Lightspeed LAN and Lightspeed SCSI option. Support shall be required for at least one year. These Lightspeed software products are currently licensed and installed on various WANG VS mini-systems located in the State DDS's around the country. As the original manufacturer of Lightspeed NVS and its options, Lightspeed Software is considered to be the only source for the Annually renewable software maintenance agreements and installation and configuration services. Interested parties must respond to this notice within 15 calendar days from the date of this publication. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to LIGHTSPEED98.
