The Government National Mortgage Association, Ginnie Mae, a wholly-owned Government corporation, provides a secondary market for government insured/guaranteed loans through its Mortgage- Backed Securities programs. Ginnie Mae is soliciting for contract services to provide assistance in performing issuer training sessions for Mortgage-Backed Securities issuers, job performance enhancement sessions for Ginnie Mae staff on industry issues, seminars that explain the specific program requirements of Ginnie Mae to issuers, research and analysis of the success of Ginnie Mae in incorporating minority lenders in its programs, recommendations for program changes to broaden lender participation, and support for customer satisfaction surveys. The successful offerors must have the qualifications and experience in matters related to Mortgage-Backed Securities and other instruments in the capital markets in order to assist Ginnie Mae with conceptualizing, organizing, and conducting technical assistance and support activities related to its business. A three year multiple award, task ordering contract is contemplated with 2 one-year options to renew. RFP GNMA-98-PP-02 will be issued on or about June 15.
