North Cascades National Park Service Complex will issue a Request for Quotations for re-roofing seven buildings located at the Marblemount Ranger Station compound. Options for up to nine additional structures may be exercised by the Government at time of award. Existing roofs are cedar shake that will be replaced by metal, composite, or shakes. The contract value is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. Prospective quoters are encouraged to attend a site visit on June 18, 1998. The Standard Industrial Code is 1761 (Roofing, Siding, and Sheet Metal Work). The small business size standard is $7 million. The proposed solicitation is open to all sources in accordance with FAR Part 19.10, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded in late July 1998; work must be completed by September 30, 1998.
