Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office
of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program
to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises
to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation
related contracts. Loans are available under DOT Short Term Lending
Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.00. For further
information and applicable forms concerning the STLP, please call the
OSDBU (800) 532-1169. The Maritime Administration Central Region is
requesting offers to repair 16 Government furnished Sodium Vapor Light
fixtures, and install the repaired light fixtures in Transit Shed 3 of
the Poland Avenue Wharf. The contractor will be required to repair in
place 8 Sodium Vapor Light Fixtures including ballast's and bulbs. Any
interested firm may request a copy of the quotation in writing by
stating name, firm, and quotation number. All responsible sources may
