Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to provide an official response to questions received and to extend the due date for receipt of offers. Question: What is the approximate amount of pipe (overall footage)? Answer: All dimensions will be identified at the site visit. Question: Are the measurements of the systems at a grade level (elevetions) or is a personnel lift neded to get the "exact measurement?" Answer: Elevations and interface locations and types will be identified at the site visit. All measurements are to be taken by the contractor during the site visit. Question: What does DPAS and DO-C9 mean? Answer: DPAS stands for Defense Priorities and Allocations System, a Department of Commerce regulation in support of authorized national defense programs. DO-C9 is the DPAS rating for this type of acquisiton. (See FAR 11.6 for further explanation) The due date for receipt of offers is extended to June 5, 1998. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on May 20, 1998.
