Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216 intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Chiron Diagnostics Corporation, 115 Norwood Park South, Norwood, Massachusetts 02062-4658 for a complete package to include a Quantiplex 340 Automated system, including Data Management Software, computer, keyboard, monitor, printer, a Jouan HIV Centrifuge w/rotor, and Quantiplex HIV-RNA 3.0 assay kits. Contractor shall provide training and service at no charge to the VANTHCS. The period covered under this contract will be 8/1/98 through 7/31/99 with one option to renew for a period of one year. Request for Proposal number is 549-98-98. Issue date will be on or about 6/18/98. Due date will be on or about 7/17/98. This will be the only notice of such a solicitation.
