This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation ACD-8-Q-0019 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The Standard Industrial Code is 7641, Reupholster and Furniture Repair. The Small Business Size Standard is $5 Million. The resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price, Contract. The contractor shall furnish the labor, tools, equipment, and vehicles to refurbish and install Herman Miller Panels and accessories and provide additional accessories as identified in the CLINs. The power requirements shall be 8 wire, 4 circuit. All electrical components/wiring shall be NEW. All items provided by the contractor shall be in the color "Smoke". All items required to be painted shall be in the color "Smoke". The contractor shall submit samples of proposed color "Smoke" for approval and concurrence by the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall provide the labor and equipment necessary to pick up and load the fabric, panels and accessory parts at the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) warehouse, 414 Union Bower Court, Irving, Texas. On completion of the refurbishing and purchase of new product, all items shall be transported to the U.S. Border Patrol Station, 1124 Central Boulevard, Brownsville, Texas. There will be nine (9) groupings of four (4) workstations. Drawings shall be made available upon request. The contractor will not install any worksurfaces or flip cabinets.
