The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for one meter, mobile, gimballed telescope system. The Telescope/Gimbal shall consist of the telescope structure, all optical components, and an elevation over azimuth gimbal structure. Options are anticipated for the design and documentation of the mobile carrier; for the fabrication, testing, delivery, installation, and training for the mobile carrier; for the telescope warranty and for the storage of the telescope. The period of performance will be provided at a later date but is not expected to exceed 18 months. Numbered Note 26 applies. NRL uses electronic commerce (EC) to issue RFPs and amendments to RFPs. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is now available for comment.
