Gazillo (202)366-4248 The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to extend its Cooperative Agreement, No. DTFH61-94-X-00004, with Public Technology, Inc.(PTI) to continue the outreaach and technology transfer program for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to local governments. PTI will continue to create public awareness of ITS in such areas as a National ITS Architecture; prepare reports on local government response to the traffic/transportation aspects of the year 2000 computer problem; and linking ITS technologies with local governments public safety technologies. Interested parties should send a letter of interest to the FHWA, along with their relevant experience and capabilities related to technolgy transfer and outreach to local governments. (0147)
