R -- NATIONAL ENERGY EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT PROJECT The U,S. Department of Eenrgy's Federal Energy Technology Center, Pittsburgh, PA intends to award a fixed price purchase order for the procurement of the 1998 National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project which is to conduct the 1998 NEED Leadership Training Conferences. The National Energy Education Development Project located in Reston, Virginia is the only known provider for these conferences. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. Proposals are due 15 June 1998. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this action is 98A100100 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation. However, any responsible source(s) capable of suppling the above items are encouraged to respond. Only FAX responses will be considered, ( FAX to Mr. Robert L. Mohn, 412-892-6216), and the responses must convey the ability of the response to meet the stated requirements.
