FOCUS ON THE FUTURE CONFERENCE: USAF MODERNIZATION PLANNING PROCESS (MPP) Air Force Training and Education Briefing to Industry The success of the Modernization Planning Process (MPP) depends on active discussion between the Air Force and industry representatives. "Focus on the Future" will give industry and the labs an opportunity to hear detailed descriptions of the Air Force operational MAJCOMs' latest training and education needs/deficiencies presented by representatives from ACC, AETC, AMC, AFSOC, AFSPC and the AF Surgeon General. Presentations will address modernization planning and aircrew, space and technical training areas. The objective is to give both industry and Air Force RD&A activities a better understanding of what the Air Force is looking for in terms of concepts, and to give them an opportunity to pose questions directly to the MAJCOM representatives. This will allow industry and the Air Force RD&A activities to submit relevant concepts to the annual fall ASC Concept Call, tentatively scheduled for November 1998.
