Blackledge, Contract Specialist, (404) 842-6516 Provide all necessary labor, materials and equipment to construct a new multi-level parking structure which includes approximately 750 parking spaces for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA. Requirements include demolition of two small wood frame buildings with no hazardous materials present. The structural system shall be cast-in-lace post-tensioned concrete with the foundation being auger-cast piles to rock bearing. Exterior finish materials shall include brick, glass in aluminum storefront system and aluminum panels. Major systems include lighting, storm drainage system, traffic control device and security system. Options may be exercised at the time of award or within 90 days of contract award and include the following: painting the underside of parking area slabs; installation of exterior metal panels on South Elevation, installation of brick finish on concrete retaining walls, construction of Stair Number 3 and construction of Parking Structure. The estimated cost range of this requirement is between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Plans/specs will be available approximately July 1, 1998.
