This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from LMS Link Software Scope: LMS Link Software is capable of correlating modal test data to analytical models by directly modifying the MSC/NASTRAN bulk data deck to reflect the modal test data. This is in addition to LMS Software that is currently used at Marshall Space Flight Center. Tasks: The contractor shall provide software and manuals for LMS product code X-S70.01.B-Upgrade, Link Bundle for MSC/NASTRAN which includes CAE Gateway, Networking Privileges, Modal and Response Based Correlation, Sensitivity and Updating Driver for MSC SOL 200, Proportional Sensitivity and FE Updating, MSC/NASTRAN Data Manager and Driver, MSC/NASTRAN for LMS Link and Updating the Existing Link System to Handle: Sensitivity and Updating Driver for MSC SOL 200 and MSC/NASTRAN for LMS Link. Period of Performance: One-time purchase Deliverables: LMS Link Software and Documentation. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have 5 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the 5 days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
