Rollins, 02412, (703) 602-0204, Ext. 421 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract to GNB Industrial Battery Company, Woodlake Corporate Park, 829 Parkview Blvd., Lombard, IL 60148-3249, for up to 928 man-days of FY99 and FY00 engineering services required to survey and record the installation, operation, maintenance and performance of submarine main storage batteries; and to provide recommendations to correct detected deficiencies or problems. The FY99 requirement is for up to 464 man-days required "as ordered" for a period of one (1) year. The FY00 requirement will be included as an option for up to 464 man-days required "as ordered" for a period of one year. GNB Industrial Battery Company as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for submarine main storage batteries, is the only company which possesses the essential proprietary data, unique knowledge, and experience necessary to provide the required services.
