The Defense Distribution Center has a urgent requirement for an equipment repair on an American Clyde Crane for our Depot in Anniston Alabama (DDAA). The request is for a Rail-guided crane, model 28-DE-110-15, Serial # CW4083. During a inspection it was noted that the MAIN BOOM HOIST/CABLE needs to be replaced. Contractor will provide ALL plant, equipment, labor and material necessary to replace. Contractor need to include any travel expense in quotation. DDAA will furnish cable, area to unroll cable to be installed, operator for subject crane being repaired, safety personnel and loadtesting of crane when job is complete. THERE WILL BE NO WRITTEN SOLICITATION ISSUED FOR THIS REQUEST. This request for quotation and the resultant contract award are bieng processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
