This facility requires Medical Transcription Services. Contractor shall be required to provide services to transcribe approximately 410,000 lines of dictation annually into the proper format and transmit to the VA VISTA computer system within 24 hours of dictation for all but STAT dictations which require a four (4) hour turn-around time. Dictated reports must be available for viewing in the VISTA system during the turn-around period. The successful offeror must have equipment that is compatible with our Medical Center System. The Contractor must be able to format the reports in an ASCII format to allow the reports to transmit correctly. Contractor must be able to transmit into this Medical Center's computer system via telephone lines. Associated cost for compatible equipment described and all telephone lines charges are to be borne by the Contractor. Material transcribed will include a high incidence of medical terminology. The anticipated contract is for a base year with 2 -- 1 year renewal options. This solicitation is a total 100% small business set-aside.
