This is the second synopsis for OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison Study of the Base Supply function at Scott AFB Il. The total number of people affected by the study is approximately 110 individuals. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to manage and operate this functional area. Any resultant contract awarded will be a firm -- fixed price contract. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses. SIC Code and Size standard for this acquisition is 8744 -- $20M. Contract period of performance will be a basic one-year period and four one-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued on or about 28 Aug 1998 with a planned conditional award date of 22 Nov 1999. This solicitation will not result in a contract if government performance is determined to be more advantageous in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 procedures. This solicitation will be issued on 3.5 floppy disk in Microsoft Word 1997 Edition.
