TECHNOLOGY FOR READINESS AND SUSTAINMENT PRE-SOLICITATION OF DRAFT DOCUMENTS ON THE INTERNET This announcement provides notice that the Crew Survivability and Logistics Division of the Human Effectiveness Directorate, (AFRL/HES) located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, intends to issue a Program Research and Development Announcement (PRDA) that will provide support to various logistics research and advanced development programs in HES, to perform longer range feasibility studies for future research and development programs, laboratory and field studies to extend the theory and provide empirical definition and verification; transforming empirical data into guidelines, methodologies, and tools to enable effective transfer of logistics technology to the planning, design, and development of equipment and systems. This procurement is a Non-Set-Aside Full and Open Competition. Draft documents pertaining to this program are presently posted on the web at www.wrs.afrl.af.mil/contract/ or www.brooks.af.mil/HSC/PKA/sarah. Industry comments are highly encouraged and are requested no later than 12 June 1998. More documents and information will be posted to these sites, monitor regularly for the latest information. No other notices will appear in the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) until the PRDA is issued in August of 1998. An "Industry Day" is tentatively scheduled for late June of 1998.
