Rice, Contract Specialist, (301) 402-3086; Patrick Williams, Contracting Officer, (301) 496-2501 The National Institue on Aging of the National Institues of Health intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1, a contract with Airlie Foundation for a basic period of one year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The Contractor must provide conference facilities including lodging, accommodations for group meals and space for large and small group discussion including evening sessions for an annual conference. Audiovisual service and conference support must also be provided. The facility must be in a rural area diminishing participant distractions while remaining within a reasonable travel distance from transportation centers. It is the Government's belief that these requirements can be met only by the Airlie Foundation. All responses must be written and received within 45 calendar days from the published date of this notice ORAL COMMUNICATION IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND WILL NOT BE HONORED. Any firm believing it has the ability to meet the Government's requirement is invited to respond to this notice by furnishing clear and convincing documentation to Johnnie L. Rice at the address noted above demonstrating their ability to meet, at a minimum, all the stated performance and capabilities to accomplish the subject contract. A Statement of Work is available upon request. Responses requesting the solicitation without providing the required documentation shall not be considered. There is no solicitation document. Concerns that respond to this notice will be considered only if furnishing clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their ability to meet, at a minimum, the stated requirements. A determination by the Government to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
