Work Consist of Station Improvements and the construction of surface parking facilities for the commuter rail station in downtown Haverhill, Massachusetts. The work will include, but not be limited to, demolition and removal of two existing buildings, removal and disposal of one underground storage tank, earthwork, grading, reconstruction of two existing platforms, passenger shelter, two high-level access platforms with canopy, concrete retaining walls, concrete walks and ramp, steel bollards, hand railing, fencing, granite curbing, bituminous concrete pavement, signage, pavement markings, drainage, lighting, landscaping and communication system. This contract is subject to a financial assistance Contract between the MBTA and the Federal Transit Administraiton of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
