Z -- SATUS WATER & SEWER IMPROVEMENTS AND WHITE SWAN WATERMAIN & PUMPHOUSE INSTALLATION @ SATUS & WHITE SWAN, WA, PROJECT #PO-94-694 AND PO-96-733 SOL 102-IFB-98-0012 DUE 071698 POC Kathy Block, Contracting Officer, 206/615-2454 Work to be performed will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the improvements to the Satus community water and sewer facilites to include a new submersible well pump w/ drop pipe and pitless adaptor, new 2-inch PVC watermain, community building plumbing and electrical modifications, new 4-inch PVC sewer main and service lines, new septic tanks for community building and individual homes, installation of a new lift station and duplex pump control system, installation of a new communtiy chambered drainfield system, and abandonment of existing facilities. In addition the work also includes installation of approximately 10,100 LF of new 10-inch PVC watermain complete with all appurtenances to connect the South White Swan community system with the White Swan community system, a new water treatment building complete with new piping and telemetric duplex pump control system to incorporate two existing community wells into the new water treatment building, and the installation of a new pressure transducer in an existing vault adjacent to the existing water storage tank. -- Project completion time is estimated at 180 calendar days after the receipt of a notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. -- The proposed contract listed here is set aside for 100% small businesses per the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. -- A pre-solicitation notice will be issued concurrently with this synopsis. -- Award will be subject to the availability of funds. -- Bid documents will be available at no charge on or about June 16, 1998, at the HHS/IHS/Engineering Services-Seattle, address listed above.
