The work to be performed shall include removal and decontamination of six inactive tanks, an inactive booth with ventilation located in southeast corner, and a vapor degreaser with ventilation located in the southwest corner. Installation of emergency access door. Installation of emergency access door. Installation of floor structural supports. Installation of floor gratings for exposed areas from the demolition of equipment. Installation of glass media and plastic media blasting equipment and construction of installation of associated ventilation. Installation of valves on existing tank. Installation and construction of new ventilation hoods and new ventilation equipment. Construction of work bench alodine tank assembly and secondary containment. Construction of solvent tank secondary containment. Repainting of existing ceiling which is approximately 4,500 square feet and repair of lead-based paint on wall areas (approximately 150 square feet). Upgrading all of the electrical components within the room to Class I, Division I and II and incidental related work. This is a firm fixed price contract.
