Z -- RENOVATE HEADS, BUILDING 601, NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, NEW ORLEANS, LA SOL N62467-98-B-7084 DUE 073198 POC Marlene Crawford (504) 678-2150 The work includes the renovation of fifteen (15) restrooms and seven (7) adjacent janitorial closets in Building 601 including the replacement of plumbing fixtures; replacement of doors including hardware; replacement of partitions; replacement of exhaust fans and balancing of air flows; replacement of toilets and seats; replacement of sinks and countertops; replacement of all mirrors and lighting; installation of ceramic tiles on walls and floors; installation of floor drains; installation of piping with insulation, soil pipe, and vent pipe; installation of furring to conceal piping; installation of receptacles at countertop areas; installation of new suspended ceilings; and incidental related work. Work shall be performed as indicated herein to address the presence of lead-based paint and asbestos. Existing Rooms 3, 4, 8, 10, and 14 shall be converted to comply with the ADA and incidental related work. The estimated cost range: $250,000 to $500,000. The due date of 31 July 1998 is an estimated date. The proposed procurement will be issued on an unrestricted basis.
