The project is located approximately 8.6 miles southeasterly of Grangeville, Idaho via State Highway 13 a distance of 1.2 miles to the Junction with FH-17, thence southeasterly along a distance of 0.7 miles to junction with FDR #221, then southerly along #221 a distance of 6.7 miles to the beginning of the project. Project consists of the application of a single shot BST with cover aggregate on 29.8 miles of existing double-lane A.C. pavement and double shot BST surfaced road. The project also includes application of a single shot BST with cover aggregate on 0.4 miles of campground access road and loop road, 11 each camping spurs and a parking lot. The BST will utilize a rubberized asphalt emulsion and stockpiled government-supplied cover aggregate. Pre-bid tour is scheduled for July 8, 1998 to begin at the Supervisor's Office at Grangeville at 8:00 a.m. Estimated start work is July 30, 1998.
