Z -- ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION BUILDING PAINTING SOL DE-FB65-98WJ35863 DUE 080198 POC Frank Armstrong (970) 490-7216; Cheryl Smith (970) 490-7523 The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, equipment, tools, and other resources necessary to paint various Control Buildings located in the Rocky Mountain Region. The work consists of and includes preparation of the surfaces to be painted and painting of exterior and interior surfaces, including some lead based paint surfaces, and caulking. Surfaces to be painted are on multiple maintenance control buildings at various locations. This project is located in Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Eastern Nebraska. The estimated order of magnitude of this project is between $100K -- $250K. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be issued in hard copy FREE OF CHARGE. NOTE: In accordance with Western's Acquisition Handbook, "Western procurement officials shall limit availability of solicitations." Therefore, only a limited number of copies of this solicitation will be available to be distributed by this office. Copies of this solicitation will be issued on a "first-come first-served bases". Additional copies of this solicitation will be available through various "Plan Holders Rooms." All work for all of the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) must be completed NLT within 120 calendar days. Western issues a Notice to Proceed. All the CLINs will be delivery FOB destination. There will be only one award made from this solicitation. Therefore, all bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none basis". This solicitation will be issued on or about July 1, 1998. The projected bid opening date is on or about August 4, 1998. This proposed procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside (See Note 1).
